Welcome! I'm an author-illustrator, surface pattern designer, and editor.

I Make Art

I'm a community-taught, mixed media artist creating illustrations for kids' books, textiles, and home goods. I'm inspired by women's and queer history, travel, literature, and nature. I love texture, loose, gritty lines, and a moody palette.

I Write Stuff

I'm an author, mostly for kids but some adult stuff too. I'm especially interested in writing stuff about mental health; biographies of badass women and unsung heroes; and stories about animals and science, especially the gross bits (I’ve published articles on poop and slugs among other things). I'm especially interested in creating graphic novels and novels in verse.

I have a degree in children's literature and writing and a background in editing.
